JOYCE & BRIAN
This is our story, and you're a part of it
A NOTE FROM THE BRIDE & GROOM

We can't tell you how excited we are to share this important day with all of you. For us we are celebrating so much more than a wedding, but a lifelong commitment we pray will be filled with laughter, adventure & lots of love.
Each one of you has played an important role in our story, and we are excited to have you as witnesses as we step into this God journey together.
With love,
Joyce & Brian

OUR STORY
Some stories feel like they were written by fate—and ours is one of them.
I came to Pittsburgh from Vietnam as an international student, chasing dreams and a future half a world away from home. He, born and raised in Ohio, had moved to Pittsburgh for work, not knowing that something life-changing was waiting for him here. In a city neither of us had always called home, our paths crossed on the most unexpected of platforms—Facebook Dating. It all began with a simple “Hello,” and soon led to our first date over warm bowls of Korean food in December 2022. What started as a digital connection quickly blossomed into something real and deeply meaningful. Laughter, shared adventures, and quiet moments turned into a love story we both never saw coming—but now can’t imagine living without. Now, just a little spark that began online has become the foundation for a lifetime together.

Q&A
1 / What should I wear?
We’d love for everyone to dress in semi-formal, cocktail-style attire. As our ceremony is in St. Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral, we kindly ask that outfits be respectful of the setting.
2 / Can I bring a plus one?
We are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on the wedding invitation. If a plus one has been extended, your invitation will be addressed to “Your Name & Guest.”
3 / How can I watch if I’m unable to be there?
The ceremony will be livestreamed from St. Alexander Nevsky Orthodox Cathedral. We’ll update this page with the link (likely via the church’s YouTube channel) closer to the day.
